Devnya Cement‘s employees with a social campaign for cleaning and refreshment

Volunteers from the Devnya Cement team rolled up their sleeves to refine parts of Devnya Municipality and paint bus stops, benches and cleaned up contaminated areas. The initiative is part of the company's social policy and aims to turn employees into active participants.

“We are extremely happy and motivated to show as a team that the territory and the residents of the Municipality of Devnya are very important to us. Many of our colleagues are from this municipality and for all of us as a team it was a great pleasure to show our social commitment and try to contribute to the pleasant atmosphere in Devnya. We will certainly continue to do such campaigns, ”said Silvio Thiede, the new General Manager of Devnya Cement, who joined side by side with the employees.

The cement plant team organizes industrial waste treatment in the Devnya River Quarter and in the Village of Kipra. The whole campaign was with the kind support of the Municipality of Devnya, whose team determined the places for refreshment and followed the process.

Devnya Cement employees, including Devnyans, said the work was extremely enjoyable and motivating, and the result of painted bus stops, benches and cleaned areas was really satisfying.

As part of the initiative of bTV Media Group "Let's Clean Bulgaria Together" on September 14, employees of Devnya Cement, Vulkan Cement and Global IT Center joined the campaign with their families to give a good example!
