Managing Board

Mr. Polendakov is appointed as Managing Director Bulgaria, Greece and Albania, Heidelberg Materials as of May, 2022. He previously held the position of Managing Director for Heidelberg Materials in Russia since 2011.

Since March 2022, Mr.Lazarov is Commercial Director of Heidelberg Materials for Bulgaria, Greece and Albania and he is the first Commercial director responsible for the 3 countries at the same time. He has rich experience of international sales and his career at HeidelbergCement Group began in 2014 as Business Development and Export Manager of the subsidiary in Bulgaria. Since 2017 he has been Sales Manager for Bulgaria and Albania. Since March 2020, Mr. Mihail Lazarov is Commercial Director of Halyps Cement, responsible for the Greek and Albania markets.

Neli Kirova is holding the position Purchasing Director for Bulgaria, Greece and Albania since the beginning of 2021. Ms. Kirova joined Devnya Cement in 2018 at the position of Accounting and Tax Manager and as of December 2019 covered also the position of Process Optimization Manager. Her previous experience is in London, United Kingdom in the field of Accounting and Finance.

Human Resources Director of Heidelberg Materials for Bulgaria, Greece and Albania since the beginning of 2024. He has many years of experience in talent development in large business organizations from different industries. His professional career in Heidelberg Cement began during the year 2000 in Zlatna Panega Cement JSC where until 2004 Mr. Savov was taking the position of Human Resources Director.

Since January 2024 Eka Tkeshelashvili is appointed as Finance Director responsible for Bulgaria, Greece and Albania.  She joined Heidelberg Materials in 2007 first as the Head of Legal Department & Compliance Officer. During 2010-2023 she held the position of Finance Director supervising HeidelbergCement Georgia’s financial operations for Cement, Ready-mix and Aggregates business lines.

Since January 2024, Mr.Martinelli is the new Technical Director of Heidelberg Materials for Bulgaria, Greece and Albania. He has more than 20 years of experience in cement industry, working across different countries and cultures. In his previous experiences he was: capex and maintenance director in France, plant manager and maintenance manager.
